Having a bit of a connectivity challenge again - better than a disconnectivity challenge, as sufferers the world over could tell you - better to have to wait three days for your cable hookup than to have it cut and
have to start all over again - although, at least in one cable company in Trinidad, back in the days before computerized records, I had a parnder who would regularly let his cable bill accumulate until it was cut - and then go without cable for the month or two before a new promotion offering free installation was offered.
In any case, I hope to defeat this round of connectivity problems finally manana, por la manana, as they say in Miami. I will have a backup for my backup system; and feel almost like I come from Germany, all this firetrucking preparation and contingency consideration.
Oh, wait a minute. Won't be so different from Barbados after all.
